During the previous meeting we zoomed out and looked at the topic again from different perspectives. We did so, because we realized that we tend to be fixated on a topic of problem solving process, therefore we tried to use different way of working to get further in our research.
Associative thinking is the way to go at the moment. As original ideas tend to be remote, first ideas are the obvious ones and original ideas emerge after developing obvious ones, we took time to get to remote ideas.
In the previous meeting we liked these associations so we continued thinking about them by divergent and associative way.

- key -> button -> controller
- solution -> chemical mixture -> water and solutes

We see a relation between a controller and augmented reality where controller is a bridge from digital to physical world and the way around.
A controller is also a tool for control. Then we discussed locus of control (more about this will be in a post).
The topic of influence of environmental conditions on a problem solving process is still discussed. We mainly focused on influence of colors and creativity.
What is creative thinking? How to change the way of thinking to get to new original ideas? How can the environment help? The experience of visiting LEF center in Utrecht was very helpful in our process. So we decided to do the same with "key-controller" topic and visit a workshop on Dutch Design Week about how to design new interfaces and interaction models by body sensors, motion detectors and other tools.
